Well as you have
probably guessed from the banner at the top is that my name is Alick
Boyer, I'm currently
doing photography, obviously. I've only just properly started out doing
it, so some of my stuff isn't up to the
standards of some professional photographers. I use three types of cameras
currently, one being a standard digital camera,
a FujiFilm FinePix F10. The next being a 35mm SLR, which
is a Minolta 300SI Dynax, probably my favourite camera.
The third and
final one being a Sony a200, which I do
love a lot. With these I shoot a lot of different things.
I try and
concentrate myself on music and skate photography
but I do, as you may have noticed, take a lot of different
photographs of
landscapes, cityscapes, people, macro,
nature and so on and so on, it is usually a picture of what I think,
in my
opinion looks good, and hopefully other
people will like it too. I would like to think some of my ideas are
original
and others not so, but who knows, this may actually get me somewhere. I'm currently shooting for Goodnight
Nancy.
Also, you may have noticed I do graphic designs, I use Adobe Photoshop CS3
for the banners/logos, which I
make, currently through being asked and for friends. The things I make are
usually for websites, but sometimes
for things such as RC cars.
I also support a few organisations, if you haven't already checked out the
sites page then do so. I support SSE,
or 'Syrentha' which is helping people who can not afford the
treatment for cancer, which I think is extremely
important. Another one, is TWLOHA, or 'To Write Love On Her Arms' which is
targeting suicide, or depression
which to me is a very very important subject as it's quite personal to me
as well.
I wear/support Macbeth Footwear, just simply because they look good,
they're comfortable, and they're vegan, so
no cute animals were harmed in their making, whatsoever.
So keep an eye out for some of my new photographs or just some of my
random news updates or comments on the
other sites I spam up with the useless stuff that comes out of my mind,
